Versions & compatibility
Continuous Control has two parts that you install separately: a Salesforce package and a NetSuite release. This page lists the current versions and explains how the Connection wizard makes sure the two work together.
Current versions
| Part | Version | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| Salesforce | Continuous Control 3.4.1 package version id 04tPc000000zaubIAA | Install from a link. No key needed. See Install the Salesforce package. |
| NetSuite | ns-v3.3.1 | Download continuous-control-netsuite-v3.3.1.zip and run the install.sh inside it. |

You don't have to track this yourself. When you connect the two, step 4 of the Connection wizard (Verify installation) reads the NetSuite version. If it's too old, the wizard tells you which version you need. You can run the check any time, for example to confirm an update worked.
Update to a newer release
- Update NetSuite first. Run
./install.shfrom the new release zip. It adds and updates components and never deletes your data or settings. - Update Salesforce. Install the new package version from its link, over the current one. Your settings, credentials, mappings and sync history stay. An update doesn't add new picklist values. If the release notes name one, add it in Setup. For 3.3.0 that's Order Line Sync on the NetSuite Sync Run Type field.
- Run Deploy prebuilt calls & mappings (wizard step 6). It adds anything new in the release. It won't change a call you've already activated. If a live call has new fields available, the wizard asks you to review it.
- Run Verify installation (wizard step 4) to confirm the pair. It also saves the NetSuite version. A sync that needs a newer NetSuite release, such as Order Line Sync, checks that saved version before it starts.
What changed in each release is in the Release notes.
